The Franklin Farm is a small diversified family farm in Guilford, Vermont.
Our goals are to enjoy what we do, take very good care of our animals and our land, and to produce food of the highest quality that enriches our lives and the lives of others.
Each spring our family and friends head into the woods to tap our sugar maples. When the days start to warm and nights continue to cool below freezing temperatures, the sap starts to run. Using a mix of modern and traditional methods and equipment, we collect the sap and boil it down to produce some of the best tasting wood-fired Maple Syrup in Vermont.
